Having transitioned from the insurance industry into the property industry in 2009, Chris Pang entered the field around the same time as the very first property cooling measures by the Singapore government. In Sep 2009, the government removed the Interest Absorption Scheme (IAS) and Interest-Only Housing Loans (IOL), affecting many property investors’ budgeting plans.
Due to this drastic change, his first foray into the property market was both hasty and filled with uncertainty. However, through diligent research and tenacity, he was able to overcome the steep learning curve and help many investors restructure their property portfolios to adapt to the new rules.
